Now you can create little modules that are updated in real-time to include on your own websites, message boards postings, blogs sidebars, etc. You can create Player Badges for your own profile or your foes’ profiles so you can make sure to remind everyone how they’re doing on Warfish
.
There are several different sizes to choose from and you can endlessly customize the color scheme to your liking. Here are some examples of where you might use them:
[1] On message boards. There are two typical ways you might do this: [a] by setting your avatar image to the 75×75 pixel badge. This will only work on message boards that accept a url as a avatar image, if your message board requires that you upload an image to display it as your avatar, this will not work. [b] as your message posting signature ( thin badge style can be used for this purpose ). This way your badge will display discreetly at the bottom of your message posts.
[2] On blogs side bar. The tall vertically oriented badge is designed for use in a blog side bar. This way you can just display your Warfish info as another module alongside any others you may have on your blog.
[3] In web site comments (on profiles, photos, etc). This can be the most fun way of using badges since you can post your foe’s badge info on a page that you know they will check frequently. There are several sizes that maybe appropriate for use in website comments depending on the website you are commenting on. On some comments the message board thin signature style may work well, however some in some comments systems the area is more narrow and the narrow / smaller badges may work better.
[4] Website profiles. Some websites allow you to create profiles and include personalized information. This is a great place to show off your own badge so that your friends always can see your accomplishments on Warfish. The badge size shown above is designed for profile usage.
Look for the “Create a badge for this profile” links on player profiles to find out more. One way to find a players profile is to look at the player’s info in one of your games, then click on "view profile" from within the mini-profile area.
